I am running to represent House District 14 because we deserve community advocates at our State Legislature. I have been working in the disaster response and recovery space since August of 2023 and have built relationships with government officials and agencies and community members and organizations that I will leverage to fight to improve the lives of working people.
Community engagement is essential to ensuring that legislators are writing laws that will benefit the people. We need leaders who will both communicate with their constituents and seek guidance on policymaking from subject matter experts.
I'm focused on lowering costs where the State actually has leverage so that we can try to keep our families home.
We must treat care as the vital piece of our economic engine that it is by expanding affordable childcare, supporting caregivers, and strengthening our care workforce.
Water and land are the foundation of life in Hawai‘i that should be protected as a public trust, not the commodities that they are often treated as. We must fight for real enforcement, transparency, and accountability to minimize the penalties that our community pays for the ongoing misuse of our resources.
Have questions or suggestions? I would love to hear from you!
